Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We are delighted that you have taken the time to learn about the mission and ministries of Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma. By God’s grace, Bethel has been taking the gospel of Jesus Christ "to the neighborhood and to the nations" for more than 50 years. Our church facility is located in the fastest growing area of Oklahoma, just ten minutes north of the Tulsa International Airport. We would love to have you visit with us and attend our times of worship, Bible study, and fellowship—whether you are just passing through this part of the country or whether you live in the Tulsa metropolitan area.

At Bethel we are ever increasingly striving to be a "Great Commission" church, developing strategies from God’s inerrant, infallible, all-sufficient Word for reaching our “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria” and even the “uttermost parts of the world” with the glorious good news that God, the holy and just Creator, Lawgiver and Judge of the universe, sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to be the perfect, sin-bearing, wrath-appeasing sacrifice—dying on the cross and rising from the grave—so that sinners who commit their lives to Him with a true sorrow for their sins would receive God’s forgiveness, a new life here on earth, and heaven for all of eternity.

We are also "Founders Friendly," joining together with other like-minded Southern Baptist churches in laboring for reformation while we earnestly pray for revival. We recognize that we live in a religious culture which seems to have gone mad with pragmatism, driven by the question, "What works?" Too often the response to this results in changing the message of the gospel to fit the latest faddish whims of the moment. We realize that the question which ought to drive the mission and ministries of churches under the Lordship of Jesus Christ is, "What is true?" When that question is honestly asked and then answered from the Bible, you discover that the GOSPEL MESSAGE IS THE METHOD—that is to say that the preaching, teaching, reading, and sharing of the gospel is the method God uses to save sinners. His Word is sufficient, and His Holy Spirit often attends the declaration of the gospel with His saving power.

Are you weary of churches that seem to have a subscription to the "gimmick of the month club," whose preachers appear to be frustrated "David Letterman wannabes," and whose worship leaders act like they are preparing for an appearance on American Idol? Are you looking for authentic Christianity where the preaching is thoroughly Bible-based, the worship is intentionally God-centered, the Bible study is Christ-exalting, and the fellowship is Holy Spirit anointed? If so, then we believe that you will find Bethel to be a spiritual oasis in a religious desert.

Let me invite you to "come home to Bethel...a family of Faith for your future."
