Jim Beers
Jim and his wife, Vicky, have been members of Bethel since 1991. They are parents of three sons: Byron, Bradley, and Kevin. Jim is originally from Bartlesville, OK. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1975. Jim has been in the wholesale lumber business for 30 years. His hobbies include reading, fishing, hunting, and golf.

Jack Bogart
Jack and his wife, Patti, have been members of Bethel since 1979. They have three grown children: Brenda Sheffield (her husband, Jason, their daughter, Nora and son, Isaac) of Owasso; Paul Bogart and his wife Tanya of Nashville, TN; and Phillip Bogart and his wife Morgan of Rio Rancho, NM. Jack and Patti work in the Adult 2 CoEd Sunday School class at Bethel. They own and run a small trucking company and recently have opened a Holiday Inn Express in the Tulsa area.
Jack and his wife, Patti, have been members of Bethel since 1979. Bill Congleton II
Bill and his wife, Shirley, came to Bethel in 2002. They have three children: Billy, Cara, and Nathan. Bill is an accountant for a natural gas company in Tulsa. He currently serves as AWANA Gametime Director and also enjoys singing in the choir. Shirley is active in the Music Ministry as a piano player and works in the church library.

Wes Hines
Wes came to Bethel as a teen with his parents nearly 30 years ago. He started helping his mother, Joanne, in preschool when he was 18. Wes, and his wife Jeri, were married in July 1991. In 1993 they became better known as Morgan's parents. 14 years later they became know as Morgan’s and David’s parents. Wes and Jeri enjoy serving in the preschool. Wes also serves in AWANA Cubbies and in the sound booth.

Charles Jones
Charles and Marilyn joined Bethel following their return to the Tulsa area, after many years working out of state and
abroad in the petroleum industry. Charles has his own consulting firm, providing services primarily to the petroleum
pipeline industry. Both Charles and Marilyn are very active in areas of service and Sunday School Ministry.
Charles teaches a class of 70+ year old men and is active in our Audio Ministry, delivering CD's and DVD's to shut-ins
and to members in Nursing Homes, state wide. Marilyn reaches out to our ladies in area nursing homes, to those with
family ilnesses and with family members in need of God's Love and a caring, understanding voice, as well as
volunteering to prepare meals for any one in need.

Bob Maner
Robert (Bob) Maner and his wife, Vera Jo, have been married 41 years. Bob retired from Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative after 39+ years. He also served in US Army from 1958 - 1960. Bob and Jo’s hobbies include: fishing, golf, and hunting. Bob is also the Fishing Tournament Director for the H&H Marine/Morton Marine Couples Trail in Oklahoma. Vera Jo ("my greatest assest," says Bob) helps him with those duties as well.

Barry and his wife, Joyce, have been members at Bethel since 1994. Barry is an internal auditor at Williams while Joyce is an area nurse supervisor with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. They have three children: Shelby and Ashley of Dallas/Ft. Worth area and JW of Tulsa. Barry and Joyce have four grandchildren.

Bart is a supervisor with UPS. His hobbies are basketball and golf and making people laugh. He also loves spending time with his girls.

Scott Nemecek
Scott and his wife, Dana, have been members of Bethel since 1994. They have three children: Ben, Hannah, and Natalie. Scott teaches Agricultural Education at Owasso High School.

Jimmy and his wife, Carrie, moved to Owasso in June of 1999 and have been members of Bethel Baptist Church since 2001. They have three children: Hannah, Garrett and Reilly. Jimmy is a proud member of the U.S. Military, serving his country for the last 19 years as an F-16 pilot. He and Carrie are actively involved in the youth and children programs as Sunday School and AWANA teachers.

Mike Pride
Mike has been a member of Bethel since 1979. His wife, Waynett (Menefee) has attended Bethel her entire life. They were married in 1979 and have three grown children: Courtney, Aimee, and Mitchell. Mike is an Information Technology Manager for ONEOK, Inc. Mike ministers in the following areas: Choir, Bible Study Teacher, Finance Committee, and Outreach. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hunting, trout fishing, and woodworking.

He and his wife, Vicki, have five children: Alyson Frederick (her husband, David), Amanda Weber (her husband, Nathan), Angela, Zachary, and Shannon. The Rameys have five grandchildren: Hudson, Pierce, Riley, and Clair and Kate with another granddaughter on the way. Joe is a structural engineer and is the president of Stress-Con Inc. He has taught the 12th Grade Youth and Young Married classes. Besides serving as Deacon, Joe enjoys singing in the choir. His hobbies include gardening, hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking in the mountains, and an occasional game of golf.

Ken Reed
Ken was born in New Mexico and lived in Amarillo TX, before he and his wife, Carol, moved to the Owasso area in 1989. They joined the Bethel family in 1992. Ken is the director of the TV Ministry at Bethel, an AWANA leader for third through sixth grade boys, and teaches a co-ed Bible Study class. He and Carol married in 1977; their family includes two sons, Erik and Keith, and a nephew, Robert. Ken is an electrician by trade and operates his own company specializing in emergency stand-by power. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Bill Roller
Bill and his wife, Maggie, became aware of Bethel through the TV Ministry and placed their membership in 2001. Bill is the business teacher at Jenks High School. He also coaches the boys and girls golf teams. Maggie is part-time golf instructor at Jenks South Lakes Golf Course. They have 3 young children, James, Jennifer and JohnMark; not surprising, their interest is golf.g 2006.

Gene and his wife, Judy, became members of Bethel in 1979. They have three married sons: Jim (his wife, Gayle), Jon (his wife, Melissa), and Kris (his wife, Valerie). The Russells have nine grandchildren. Their son, Jon and his family are also members of Bethel. Gene currently serves as Chairman of the Deacons, as well as Director of the FAITH Evangelism Program and teaches an Adult Co-Ed Sunday School Class. He is a business management consultant specializing in marketing. Gene graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in Educational Ministry and he holds an MBA from Oklahoma City University.

In 1991, he opened his own business, Sharp Heat and Air. Bill was saved at Bethel in 1986. He and his wife, Jo Ann, have been married 26 years and have two daughters: Kristie and Sharon (husband, Jason). They also have three grandchildren: Jayci, Ryan, and Jaxon.

Rick and his wife Tami became members of Bethel in 1989. They have two children: Ryan and Staci, both live in Stillwater. Rick graduated from Central State University in 1978 and shortly thereafter began his business career with Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, OK. Rick remained in the oil business until 1987. Since then, he has worked in the field of fiber optics for WilTel, and recently was named District Manager for the largest rural water district in the state of Oklahoma. He and his wife, Tami enjoy singing in the choir. Tami currently serves as Director of the Children's department. Rick enjoys spending time with family, as well as, hunting and fishing and an occasional game of golf.

He also served in the US Army, stationed on Okinawa and in Korea. Charles has served the church as a teacher, music leader, choir member, and bus driver. He enjoys baseball and baseball history, and country music. He also has a "green thumb." Currently, Charles teaches a third grade Bible Study Class, sings in the choir and leads music for the Adult I department...and he still drives a truck!

John and his wife, Paula have been married for almost 25 years and have been members of Bethel for over 20 years. They have two daughters, Tiffany and Candice. John is a Geologist, employed by the petroleum engineering consulting firm of Lee Keeling and Associates, Inc. of Tulsa. John enjoys serving in the TV Ministry at Bethel. John spends much of his free time traveling with his family, playing golf, and gardening. He also volunteers as an OSU Extension Tulsa County Master Gardener.
